Benefits Increase

Benefits are increased retroactive to January 1, 2007 by 3% to Pensioners and Beneficiaries who were in pay status as of December 31, 2006, and remained in pay status as of January 1, 2007.

Future Benefit Units will be increased to $82.00 per month per year of Credited Service in the "Journeyman Wireman" Plan for participants retiring from an active status on or after January 1, 2007 (subject to the rule in effect if an Employee ceases to be an Active Participant during his working career).

Individuals who retire as an Active Participant under the "Journeyman Wireman" Plan eligible for an "unreduced pension" (due to attainment of age 62 or the Rule of 85) will receive Future Service credits of $109.33 per month for each calendar year of credited service after January 1, 2007.
