Michelle's Law - Medical Leave of Absence for Full-time College Student
This law requires group health plans such as EWTF to provide up to one year of extended coverage to college students who would otherwise lose health coverage when they take a medically necessary leave of absence. This law is effective nationwide on January 1, 2010.
